County Services Altered by COVID-19 Precautions

Sheriff’s Department and Jail

  • Per the Sheriff, the Dickinson County Sheriff’s Dept will not be conducting VIN inspections, offender registration, or fingerprints until further notice. Please call 785-263-4081 during business hours M-F; 8-5 for any other questions. Also, jail visitation for 9/26 is canceled.

 Dickinson County District Court, Court Services, Community Corrections

  • All Court offices are OPEN.

Treasurer’s Department

  • The Dickinson County Treasurer's Department is closed.  It is anticipated to reopen in October.
  • Dickinson County Residents are encouraged to renew September Vehicle Registration by mail (include your phone# & copy of insurance) or Dropbox (south entrance) or Online https://ikan.ks.gov  
  • September renews are for the last names starting with P Q R

Transfer Station

  • Services are back to normal.
  • For the transfer station, remain in your vehicle and the scale attendant will come to you.
