During the daytime hours on Monday, July 1, a residence on Hillside Drive in Chapman was burglarized. Items stolen include: a pink jewelry box; a gold ring with the word “mom” cut out of the ring; a black titanium wedding band engraved with “I Love you”; a gold cross necklace with diamonds down and across the cross; a silver necklace with a Hershey bar pendant; a gold four-piece puzzle ring; a birthstone ring with three emeralds; a gold Mother’s Day ring with emeralds, rubys and amethyst stones; a large amount of change; a carton of Marlboro cigarettes and other jewelry items. Total loss is estimated to be in excess of $10,000.00.
